An Entangled Life
This everyday life of ours is entangled with all those around us. Everyday we meet at least one new person one way or the other, sometimes for better and sometimes for worse..
This shot was take on 09 Aug, the significance of the date or more of the month is that here in Bahrain its very unusual to see clouds during this time of the year. This is the time when the sun relentlessly blares down its heat upon us.
Info on this shot: crop and a million different layers i have no clue about what all i have done. The processing was more like an experiment.

All that glitters aint gold.
I hadn’t clicked or uploaded a single pic in about 2-3 weeks now.. been so busy lately..
Anyway i got out for a short drive to click some… and got near this beach.. and had clicked a few shots when a 4WD pulls next to me and lowers the dark tinted window.
A guy wearing civilian clothes shows me an ID and says he is an undercover cop.. n then he asks me why and what i m clicking..
Since i didn’t have anything to hide i told him he can take a look at the cam if he wants and that i was just here to take shots of the sunset… and he was like its alright.. just don’t take photos of women and the houses or buildings near the beach… am guessing some one important stays there..
Unlike what i have heard about cops here (Bahrain), this guy was very polite so didn’t feel offended or anything..
Anyway i didn’t hang around for long after that.. came home and uploaded the pix right away…
Whole 9 Yards

Convert a dark shot to a dynamic shot in 5 simple steps.
Step 1:
Go to layers and select curves and with the channel as RGB bend the line to form a curve, with points at Input 77 and Output 180. Now the second point where the line is supposed to curve is at Input 138 and output 162.
Step 2:
Once step 1 is completed, the trees and houses will be too dark to view, so use the eraser and erase that portion of the curves layer.
Step 3:
Go to layer and create a new layer, Select Levels. Now in the Input Levels enter these values respectively ’0′, ’0.37′ and ’218′. Once again use the eraser and erase parts of this layer (the grass, houses, trees and a little of the over exposed clouds).
Step 4:
Go to layer and create a new layer, Select Gradient Map. Now in that select the gradual B&W and customize it. Make sure the bottom marker of the black slider is @ 29% and the median point @ 36 % & and the white marker @ 83%. Now use the eraser and erase most of this layers top part i.e. the clouds area.
Step 5:
Go to layer and create a new layer, select Photo Filter. Now select Warming Filter (85) and set the density to 52%. Use the eraser and erase this layers parts that cover the house. grass and trees.
Now you should have the final image in front of you.
Hope this helped.
